Nice whip man, I'd paint the lip on the rims black and complete the Night Rider theme, hehe. Jus kiddin, its cool. I'd take off those headlight covers, you ruin the look of the front end I think. Also PLEASE spend some money on tires, they are THE most important part of the car.

Your civic looks really good...pretty clean - not sure about the headlights...I think that safety would outrule looks, but hey...maybe you don't have the deer problem that we have in MI. I wish you would rethink your future mods...I think the whole "scene" is getting away from big wings, body kits, etc. I think the stock look with a few added touches (a lip, CTR headlights) looks the best, but it's your car =) Thanks for checking out my civic...I appreciate the comments.

no, never had a cracking problem at the back, the only danger of molding cracking is at the front bumper, which is not molded into the fenders cuz of it being so low to the ground. The side skirts and back bumper dont recieve much stress, even when u ride the hell out of your car. Molding the inner taillights was pretty easy, just make sure they weld over the spot and not plaster or fiberglass over it.

walmart tires bro???? what are you thinkin, tires are more important than rims, other than that, your car has great potential and looks as if your going the right path as far as upgrades, by the way, in my last project car, i did full suede interior, with $16 of fabric and a $3 super adhesive spray, it turned out great and you can do it in one day!!! ill email you some before after shots if you like. hit me back

I love that CF center-console. I dunno about the dual pipes muffler setup though, it definitely don't look right to the stock bumper. Also not feeling the black headlight covers, but that's mostly because I value having bright light on the road ahead of me, and black covers seriously cut down the light output, they look good though.

Anyways for track racing... First thing you gotta think about is weight reduction. Not necessarily stripping the interior or anything like that, but your audio setup for one. With mine I have it so I can quickly (like as in less than 3 mins time) remove my subwoofer box and accompanying amp for it, when I go to the track or auto-X. My main 4-channel amp I don't worry about since it's mounted to STAY in the car (literally for security purposes) and also because it only weighs a few pounds compared to my sub box which is more like 30-35lbs. Also consider smaller ("15 or "16) wheels, and ones that are light, and I can definitely tell you that Wal-Mart special tires probably won't let you clear the first corner at speed without running off the pavement and into the dirt. You'll need a super sticky tire, Yokohama ES100's at the least, and Hankook R-S2 or Falken Azenis RT-615's to get you to and from the track, and KEEP you on the pavement, or at the best a seperate set of "race" wheels (something VERY light weight) and R-compound tires such as Hoosier road race slicks, or even some DOT R-compounds like Advan A032R's or A048's. Lastly a body kit will hurt more than help. Those are not aero functional unless you're going faster than a Civic can physically go, and even then unless it came ON the car from the factory, it's not functional anyways and will weight you down more than anything, same especially with a wing of any sort. I see from the looks of your mods and plans, you're going for show. Definitely can't have a road race worthy show car, no such thing unless you're a pro drift car. Even then they never dare to show off the fully gutted out interior, just the highly graphic and painted exterior, lol! Good luck!!

Oh yeah, the money you'll save from my suggestions can buy you a pretty nice suspension setup including FULL coilovers. Also a good set of SWAYbars is key to tight handling, strut bars are all for looks and don't do anything for handling really or eliminating body roll, proven fact. At the least add a rear swaybar.

Looks pretty good, but it seems that you are missing something. Sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you, but the best plan is to keep it simple. Later.
