You need to slow down in them HighWays Dawg in the Rain..... That's good you didn't do much Damage. We all know it could of been a lot worse!! In the Rain, I take the streets Home even if It takes forever cause with my Air,, It feels funny. Just as long as you get it fixed,,, You don't want to Roll with your Ride like that forever... You got to Represent for all us 4-Doors... Is your Civic an LX not a Ex?? >>>Later<<<

Nope, I've never heard of that, not that I've experienced at least. Just when you have them installed, make sure you torque everything down bolt wise AFTER the car is on the ground in the normal position for the suspension so none of the bushings bind when the parts move. Good luck! And your rep is right, you don't need a camber kit for that size of a drop. Generally "2 and more is where you need it.

thanks pal, you do gotta use what you got, nice ride

Thanks, for the comments, the exhaust was made like that. When I pulled it from the box I thought that it was bent, but it installed at that angle. Having smooth bends, I guess, is to reduce back pressure. Later.

The coilovers dont ride too rough actually... Im quite happy with them.. my buddy had ACO's on his eclipse and it was one heck of a ride... to the point where it was so rough it broke parts on the suspension from slamming so hard... but I have had no problems with mine, and the ride is generally a little rougher then factory... but its a hell of a lot better then my lifted wranglers :o)

In response to your comment to cbrosz and the Skunk2 coilovers he got, they will make the ride bumpier, but they are WAY more handling oriented and stiffer than your average lowering springs. Also like said, they offer the convenience of ride height ajustability. Skunks come in a 500f/400r spring rate (in lbs.) while his Goldlines he got rid of are only about 280lbs front and like 190lbs rear in comparison for spring rates. Personally I'd go with true full coilovers like I have, but Skunk2's aren't a bad coilover sleeve setup for one on a budget.

Anyways, good start on your Civic so far. I gotta ask though, I don't understand when people with D16Y7 motors get an EX (Y8) short ram pipe and hook it up to the stock airbox, makes no sense since you're trying to achieve a more direct airflow to the throttle body, and the airbox is going to mess up that flow since now you have a big space for the air to vortex around in, and not so direct of path once it reaches it. Check out my profile for the only way I know of to run a short ram on our motor. ;) Keep up the work and good luck!
