Recently I was collecting a new sticker set up for the ride and I wanted some stickers that decalfx had. The $30 price tag for 2 white 1"x8" vinyl stickers was hard to swallow but I figured what the heck at least they should be top quality.

The first thing I noticed when I got them in the mail was that the envelope was folded in half, creased, and wrinkled. I opened it up and found the stickers in the same condition, WOW NO cardboard to protect the stickers no nothing, just a plain old flimsy envelope.

I quickly contacted them via email to give them a chance to redeem themselves and this was their response;

"Vinyl can NOT crease, only its paper backing can can. Vinyl is applied to a flat surface, naturally its not going to be creased once it has been removed from the paper backing and is applied. If you are not pleased with your purchase, do not order from us. Sorry you're not a happy camper.

When I let them know that I would take their advice and never use their services again and that I would be letting the car clubs I know, and the forums i use know of what a great customer service I received they responded with this;

"That would be one way to get a call from our attorney.

when i had the 18's, yeah they rubbed when i turn all the way, or if i hit a major hump in the road that made my car bounce up then down. nothing real big though, it was actually kinda fine. i didnt need to make much sharp turns anyways. it feels extremely better now though with the 15 inch SI rims. im loving it.

there alright sometimes. i guess tail lights like those, or any non factory tail lights are better to have if you got a bodykit. im just out of that scene now. my stock ones are comming back on once i get my car back from the shop. kinda sucks not having my car :(

Posted By: joecivic
Date: 10/01/2006
heh, almost didnt recognize the car without the side skirts. atleast you still got the kit on. im taking mine off as soon as my stock parts get painted, then im going for the jdm look. :) anyways. just saw a car with the BC2 kit and had to check it out, then realized i seen it b4 on here. good luck with whatever u plan next :)

If you mean the valvecover, no I didn't paint it, I just got it, it's a USDM ITR valve cover. The LS is just a mock up motor of what the manifold looks like, its goin in a built B16. So are you buying a turbo kit or building your own? Keep me updated on your kit when you do it.

nice clean civic, keep it up. to me you car is a mix of both

so your saying the pics that are up now your cars height is normal right?...if so..thats what i was asking cuz i have 18 inch rims which kinda raise it up a lil more than your 17's should...plus we have the same kit..but for some reason my car looks lower than yours and i never messed with the height of it yet..i just wanna level out the height of mine and lower it a tad bit..i also plan on gettin parts of my kit painted too...like the back bumper where its got that rectangle indention or w/e..i want that part black and i think it would look good if i got a carbon fiber trunk and the hood...im not exactly sure what part you painted on your front bumper, but its probably the same part i wanna paint black on mines..take some more pics...id like to see

Well it's a toss up, in all actuallity, the straight B18C5 swap would be best for longevity if you don't modify it, since you'd be leaving it like the factory intended. Modding a car, esp. adding boost always alters the longevity unless tuned and installed perfectly, mostly the tuning dictates that aspect though. Of course boosting your D16 motor will be far cheaper than a B18C5 motor, but it's all what's most important to you, price or longevity. As for auto, adding an upgrade torque converter like from TCI or Level-10 will forsure extend the life of that component which is the most common part to fail in an auto tranny. Another route to go is to find a Canadian B16 motor (which came with an automatic option) or finding an auto B18 motor if you desire to keep the auto. That way you have the bigger B-series motor, AND auto, best of both worlds. :)

Thanks for the comments. For some reason I like the kit. I actually bought the car from the owner of buddy club 2. The only thing different is that he made mine out of carbon fiber. I am digging your car. Let me know if you need some help on your future graphics. My brother owns a business that does alot of cars for mags, nascar, racecars, etc. I am sure I could get you a good deal. Just let me know.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm not fond of the Euro tails, but to each their own. Keep up the work with it, and good luck! Looks like your going show with the car? I'd say next thing to do is the suspension, lower it since you have custom wheels and a body kit.
